What is 4-4-40?
A quick way to expand your stamping supplies, while reaping the benefits of being a hostess all while getting together once a month with stamping friends.

I have had a couple of people who have been interested in joining a monthly club, but couldn't commit to 6 months. So I came up with a shorter version.

Who: 4 Enthusiastic Stampers
When: 4 months; Jan, Feb, Mar, and April
Where: typically I can set these up at my church
What: spend $40 each month and be hostess one time
Why: because you need a night out!

The timing of this couldn't be better.
Sale-a-bration will be during Jan, Feb and March and I am confident there will be some special for April too. So if everyone just spends the $40, the total is $160 which entitles you to a free hostess set and $15 in free merchandise. If most take advantage of Sale-a-bration and spend $50, your total could increase to $200 which gives you $20 free merchandise.

The new Occasions mini catalog will also be available Jan 5th through April 30.

The hostess will serve a snack and I will prepare 2-3 stamping items to make.

Christmas crafting

I got them to sit still for a minute Christmas morning for a quick picture.

Here are the teacher gifts Josh brought to school. Candy canes are one of his favorites. He was so proud of his gifts.
One item Dad got in his stocking was a bag of M&Ms which, when left unattended, Josh ate half.
When questioned....he simply threw his hands up, as if caught, admitting
"OK, I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!"
It was hysterical!! He may look like Dad, but loves his chocolate like Mama.

These are some of Bethany's creations. She made several at my holiday workshop, but needed a few more. I think she had fun handing them out at school.

I left Ben and Bethany to work on their gift bags alone while I went to a Christmas Party with my stamping friends. They were asleep when I got home and had all their treat bags ready on the kitchen table. I was so proud of what they had created...more impressed that they did it together and lived to hand them out!

Christmas Tags

Here are some fun and festive tags we will be making on Thursday!
The cost for the tags will be 25 for $5.00.
The little punched ones are unlimited with the $5 purchase.

These tags and the poinsettia ones in the top picture are made with the Big Shot Die, Two Tags.
This die just happens to be on sale this week for a holiday special from Stampin' Up!
The wrap tag works great for little treats like the candy cane I put in mine.

These punched tags are so sweet and could be used in scrapbook pages.

These punched reindeer are Bethany's creation and will be available
for kids and adults to make. Bethany will be with me helping that night.
She loves using my punches to make fun creations.

Treat Boxes and Bags

Here are some of the projects we will be making at my Holiday Workshop
this Thursday, Dec 17th at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon.
It will run from 6pm-9:30 with snacks and beverage provided.
I have a variety of projects prepared and many can be made in bulk.
These would make great teacher and coworker gifts.
If you are unable to attend Thursday, but are interested in making
some, please email me and I can make up 'to go kits'.

These treat boxes are assembled fast and are fun to decorate.
Use the ideas from my boxes or come up with your own.
The cost of these treat boxes is $2.00 each, or 6 for $10.
Two cello bags are included, sorry the candy is not!

These treat bags are even easier to assemble and decorate.
They cost $1.50 each or 9 for $12.00.
They also come with a cello bag.

If you are interested in 'to go kits', please let me know ASAP
so I have time to get it ready and to you.

Pop-up Christmas Tree!

I absolutely love this card!!
It uses the fabulous Pop Up Christmas Tree Die
using the Big Shot (which I absolutely love too)
The front uses a simple, but elegant set, Tree Trimmings.
The Pop up Tree is decorated with decorations using
a little Sizzlets die.

The Tree is put together with a few little folds as you layer
on the branches. The only tape is when you adhere it
to the card. If folds up so nice and neat!
It is awesome!
You will definitely want to come to my
Holiday workshop and make some of you own.
The workshop will be Thursday, Dec 17th.

Here is an item we will be making at my upcoming Holiday workshop.
I have coffee beans in this one, but you could use hot cocoa mix,
tea bags, candies....the list is endless!!!
This is using a retired set which I can't remember off hand.
I used the Big Shot and the Movers and Shapers die to make the cut out,
a few score lines and viola a cute, personable, little goodie bag.
More examples to come....keep watching!

Quilt Cards

Here are some cards I made using the 1 1/4 square punch. I taped all of these square pieces onto white cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot using the Top Not die. I also ran it through again using a texture plate to give it a quilted look.

The inside is using the stamp set Puns from the Past and Sizzlit Die Buttons. They are so cute and a great way to use 'scrap' paper.

I love sunrises in the fall. This is in my front yard.

You're not too late!

Hi there,

Home for Christmas, part 2

Here are another 3 cards made with the Home for Christmas set. The designer paper used is the Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper which coordinates with Real Red and Soft Suede. This paper pack has 2 flocked designs and 2 double sided sheets which have a metallic shine to them.
It is found in the Holiday Mini catalog.

I added a little red to the main image which was quick and effective.

Here are a few cards I made with the Home for Christmas stamp set. It has two sayings and one large image, so it makes quick cards. If you like to color...go for it; otherwise, it looks nice without any coloring.

Mission Market

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have been stamping like crazy the last few days, well actually weeks, getting ready for an event tomorrow. It is the 2nd annual Mission Market fundraiser at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisbon. It runs 12-4pm, with soup and sandwich available and 12 vendors! Delightful Decorations

Here are 3 cards using the stamp set Delightful Decorations and designer series paper Holiday Lounge. These are not the traditional Christmas colors, but I think the Ruby Red and Taken with Teal make a 'delightful' color combination.

The Ornament Punch that coordinates with this set makes for easy and quick cards.

More Holy Family

These cards were made with the set Holy Family which makes such elegant and simple cards.

These cards use Regal Rose, Bravo Burgundy and Naturals Ivory card stock.

These both use gold brads to hold down the vellum which I stamped the image on.
The stars are stamped with So Saffron, cut out and popped up with a dimensional.

This is the beautiful saying for the inside.

Holy Family Stamp Set

Here are 2 cards I made with the new set Holy Family from the Holiday mini catalog. It has 3 stamps, the Holy Family, a star, and the words inside. The set is $16.95 and would make beautiful Christmas cards that are easy to reproduce. The cardstock used is Bashful Blue, Night of Navy and Naturals Ivory which gave it a nice soft look. The second card uses the Big Shot and Top Note die. I also stamped the image on velum and attached using gold brads. I have other ideas using this stamp set to follow another day. Hope you all have a great Nov 1st!

Moonlight Madness

I have been busy getting ready for an open house in Lisbon this Friday. It will be held in Kirsten's Studio of Dance at 412 Main along with other independent consultants from a variety of businesses. It only goes from 7-9pm, so be sure to get downtown for a fun night.

I will have lots of samples of Christmas cards. Here are a couple...


Both cards are using the new sets Four the Holidays and Delightful Decorations along with the matching ornament punch. I used my Big Shot to make the raised impression with the textured impressions folder, Petals-A-Plenty. The sparkle on the blue card is using a sponge dauber and shimmer paint, which is also new in the 'Holiday Mini Catalog'. The top card uses Whisper White and Real Red cardstock with the bottom card using Sahara Sand and Bashful Blue.

Lovely as a Tree

With this strange weather, I haven't seen many pretty fall trees, so I thought I would make some.

Just a little Joshy to brighten your day.

Club Cards

Here is the latest club cards we made. This stamp set is Inspired by Nature colored in using markers. The colors are Summer Sun, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip...ooo that reminds me I made chocolate chip muffins for breakfast and they were yummy!! We used Crystal Effects on the brown centers of the flowers and sprinkled clear Micro Beads on it to make it a little bumpy and shinny.

This card was inspired by the pretty snowflakes that fell earlier in the week, not this half a foot of slush and muck we just got hammered with. This card is made with the Big Shot and the Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die. It cuts and scores the card leaving the curly label wherever you position the magnetic die. The stamps are from the Hostess level 2 set Christmas Punch and works wonderfully with the punches. We added a little Dazzling Diamonds for some sparkle. The card stock is Sahara Sand and Bashful Blue with Night of Navy ink.
