Hi there. I am a full time Mom and wife and a part-time therapist. I have been using Stampin' Up! products for over 12 years and became a demonstrator Feb of 2008. This is my hobby, my 'me' time. My kids like to stamp too, so you may see some of their projects mixed in. I am hoping to inspire, share ideas, and mostly have fun. I hope you enjoy my blog!
Hello everyone! Where did fall go? I hope it comes back.... Anyway, in honor of opening pheasant season, I made a fall card using the stamp set Autumn Days. If you know someone who loves to pheasant hunt, this is the set for you! The colors are dusty durango, really rust, and more mustard. I will be gone for a few days, but will come back with a couple cards from my monthly stamp club. Have a great Sunday! Treena
Stampin' Up! used Deals of the Week before to reduce some inventory and I guess it was successful cuz it is back! I have put off buying the My Way Punch for a long time....yeah another example of how procrastination 'paid off' for me!! Stampin' Up! has the best punches and there are 2 full pages of them....yikes. If you want them all like I do, then you need another perk. I will offer 20% off 2 more punches as a special in honor of my new blog. You do not have to buy any of the deal of the week punches to take advantage of my 20% off 2.
If you would like to take advantage of this 'double deal'. please email me at Treena@drtel.net by Oct 11.
If you have a SU! catalog, the punches are on pages 186-187. If you do not, go to the SU! customer webpage and you can download the catalog. You can also click on the online store and you will find the holiday mini, which has a super cute ornament punch and stamp set which would make super quick Christmas cards. There is also a Clearance Rack, which has some retired items at great deals. Another Christmas punch is the snowflake punch which has a stamp to match found on page 208.
Here are some cards from "stamp til ya cramp" which was last night.
This is a pocket card by Mary M using SU! Designer Series Paper 'Cast-a-Spell'. Thanks for the treats Mary. She even added a cute bookmark!
Here are cards made by Bea R and June W. I love the fun colors. Thanks for the chit-chat! I needed that!
This was my card swap which uses the grass from Inspired by Nature in white craft ink on Basic Black with cute little googly eyes peeking out. The phrases, 'spooky nights' and 'halloweenfrights' are from the set Halloween Frights punched out in old olive cardstock. The base card is Rich Razzelberry with a little border of old olive. The inside is done using the skeleton from Scary Skeleton with StazOn black ink and filled in using the white gel pen. I just love how this card turned out.
I hope you liked the cards. Thanks to Mary, Bea and June for sharing their card making talents with us.
Hello all! I have been waiting for the right moment to start a blog and this is the day. I was hoping to start one on the first day of school, which was my first official day 'off'', but yadda yadda yadda....here it is.
This card was done for a swap with my upline to showcase the new In Colors and a new accessory. I chose Crushed Curry for the base card and Eggplant Envy for accent which was textured using the Big Shot texture plates. The accent is the new 1-1/4 inch striped grosgrain ribbon.
This is a card from my monthly stamp club. It uses the Scary Skeleton and Frightful Fence Wheel. The base color is Bordering Blue with a Dusty Durango accent using the new Modern Label punch and word window punch which work great together. The little phrase is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and the black swirls are from Swirls Scribbles using the Big Shot (which I love).
The inside of the card uses the stamp from the level 1 hostess set, Holiday Best. I used the In Color markers to color the stamp and a Rich Razzleberry accent using the Modern Label punch again. The cute pumpkin is done layering 3 Large Oval punches in Dusty Durango which were sponged in DD for dimension. The stem is done using the Swirls Scribbles again with the big shot in Old Olive.
