Working with scraps

I ended up with these scaps after using my Movers and Shapers die. I played around with them awhile and finally taped them down in this design. Some twill tape frayed at both ends and vintage trinkets which match Soft Suede very well, make it suitable for a guy card.

Hope to hear from you,

Guy Cards

I was challenged to make 'guy cards', which I don't do very often. But this stamp set is the one I thought of first. It is Engraved Greetings with Night of Navy and More Mustard cardstock. A little hardware or some shading can spruce them up a bit.
Thanks for stopping!!

Congratulations cards

I couldn't resist the wise ol' owl for graduation cards this year.
I love punch animals and so do my kids!!
This one was for a Confirmation card. I made the cross using the Dahlia fold,
which is easier than you think.
The bonus with this fold is you get to enjoy both sides of the DSP!!!

Have great day,

Quick Kid Card

Here is a quick birthday card I made for a classmate of Josh's.
I got a call from his teacher Friday wondering if he could go to the party after school....
oh, what party would that be!!!
So, I need a quick gift. Luckily I work with Shanna who just so happens to keep some gift certificates for the Scenic Theater with her. Lucky me!!
Got the gift, now a quick card....
On my way home I planned this card in my head.
I ran downstairs and whipped it out in 15 minutes and then off to pick up Josh from his party.
I thought this card went well with the movie pass, popcorn and pop.
Sorry, I didn't take a pic of the inside, but it was the full image of the robot,
which says 'Happy Birthday Human'.

Hope you have great day!!

A Spongebob Birthday

Here is the invitation I made for Josh's B-day party.
I thought they turned out really cute!!
It took a looong time to make them, but was worth it.
After school, we walked down to the Pizza Ranch; 17 kindergartners in all!!
Ben and Bethany and an extra Mom helped get us there.
We ate pizza and pop and started off the festivities with a rousing
game of pin the buckteeth on Spongebob.
A few well placed circles on a piece of yellow tag board and voila
a giant spongebob!!
The kids loved it!!
Here is Josh holding his treat he brought to school that day.
I made dirt cake complete with flowers and gummy worms.
I think it will be a memorable day.
